Who I am

Lauren Kaas Norton ~ Through the Woods Doula

Hello, my name is Lauren, and I am a certified birth and death doula. I have been called to the path of applying the doula model of care to all of life’s transitions. As human beings, we are constantly growing, expanding, and experiencing little deaths and rebirths throughout our lives. It is my dream to support anyone who wishes to do so in integrity and with self-compassion.

I specialize in earth based rituals and practices, breathwork, movement as meditation, and individualized ceremony and ritual. I create containers in which people can meet change with self-love, integrity, and a renewed sense of belonging within the living world.

I also engage with my community through nature-based education for children, adults, and elders, as well as offer Spanish-language interpretation for community members in need of this type of resource access support.
